New rice celebration in Núa Ngam | The Rhythms of Vietnam

When the rice fields turn golden, people pick the finest rice panicles to offer during Khẩu Hó, the new rice festival celebrating favourable weather and bountiful harvests. Led by the daughter or granddaughter of the household, the ritual honours ancestors and deities while praying for warmth, happiness, and prosperity.
