Việt Nam and the Philippines have reaffirmed their commitment to deeper military cooperation. On 3 June, Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister General Phan Văn Giang met with General Romeo Brawner Junior, Chief of Staff of the Philippine Armed Forces, who is on an official visit to Hà Nội.
