Viettel accelerates 6G roadmap

Higher deposit insurance limit boosts confidence
Economy 01:42The State Bank of Việt Nam has proposed raising the maximum deposit insurance payout to 14,000 US dollars, up from the current 4,800 US dollars, to strengthen depositor protection and boost public confidence in the banking system. If approved, the new cap would fully protect about 93.6% of depositors in cases where a credit institution goes bankrupt or cannot meet its payment obligations.
