Photo Hanoi 2025 opens
On 1 November in Hanoi, the Biennale of International Photography Photo Hanoi 2025 officially opened. The event is co-organised by the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports, the French Institute in Vietnam, and the UNESCO Office in Vietnam, marking the second official Biennale season since its debut in 2021.

Ho Chi Minh City recognised as city of film
Culture 00:44Ho Chi Minh City has been recognised by UNESCO as the newest member of the Creative Cities Network in the field of Film, making it the first "City of Film" in Southeast Asia. With this designation, Vietnam now has four cities in the network: Hanoi, Hoi An, Da Lat, and Ho Chi Minh City.
