In recent years, human trafficking in Việt Nam has grown more complex, driven by organised networks and the expanding reach of the digital world. Between 2021 and 2025, authorities investigated 358 cases involving 925 suspects. Victims are no longer limited to women and children 64% are now men, while 81% come from lowland areas, trafficked across borders through increasingly sophisticated networks.
