Phú Thọ is an ancient land, the cradle of the Lạc Việt civilisation, with a history spanning more than 5,000 years. Many cultural heritages associated with the era of the Hùng Kings have been preserved here in their original form. Among them, Xoan singing is a form of ritual folk music and a multi-element performance combining music, singing and dance to serve the spiritual and religious lives of the community.
