According to the latest figures from the country’s Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, Vietnamese nationals now make up the largest group of foreign workers in the country, accounting for 23.6 per cent of the total. In particular, highly skilled personnel such as technology engineers are increasingly becoming an indispensable workforce in Japan.
