Society 17:29 26/12/2025Visitors at the summit of Fansipan in Lao Cai were surprised to witness a rare frost phenomenon, with the mountain peak covered in white ice. With temperatures ranging from 1 to 3 degrees Celsius, frost began forming in the early hours of the morning at elevations above 3,000 meters. The ice layer, about half a centimetre thick, melted quickly as the sun rose higher.
