Every third and seventh lunar month, the Hương River in Hue City comes alive with dozens of colourful dragon boats heading upstream to Hue Nam Temple. This sacred site preserves the city's spiritual traditions. Since being recognised as a national intangible cultural heritage, the Hue Nam Festival has become an increasingly important space for folk cultural practice, bringing traditional beliefs closer to communities and younger generations.
